SYSTEMS ANALYST SR PRINCIPAL

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Systems Analyst Sr Principal, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of DLA Medical Supply Chain. You will be responsible for supporting the documentation needs of the J62CJ MedLog Program Management Office (PMO). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with developing and presenting metrics in a variety of electronic formats, including Microsoft Power BI Dashboards/Reports and Excel pivot tables, and creating well-formed, well-written, documents that support the needs of both the Program and its Development teams. This role involves working closely with the J62CJ Configuration Control Working Group (CCWG) Secretariat and the PMO to document both business and technical requirements into a variety of mediums catered to be audience-specific, i.e., Leadership / Business Review Board (BRB) members.

  • Develop interactive Microsoft Power BI Dashboards/Reports and Excel pivot tables to convey Program- and application-specific metrics such as number of implemented Requests for Change (RFCs), number of Backlog work items by application, functional area, and activity (New Development or Sustainment).
  • Provide direct support to the PMO for keeping the DMLSS-W/FEAMS Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Master Project Plan, Risk Management Board, and Task Management Board updated on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis, as required. Gather and provide information or EM to the PMO to respond to Taskers assigned on the Portfolio Manager Dashboard.
  • Assist the CCWG Secretariat in the development of Configuration Status Accounting Report (CSAR) Packages for ECAT and MRA releases, to support Audit Compliance.
  • Perform the QA Review of all content in BRB Weekly Status documents to ensure information has been properly updated and synced to the dates in all Azure DevOps Software Lifecycle Management Review and Objectives (SLMRO) Review work items. Distribute the final documents when asked.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts, developers, and QA staff to assist in the development of User Guides to document new and changed application functionality, obtain and insert correlative application screenshots, and edit drafts into polished, final, 508-compliant/accessible PDFs.
  • Participate in manual QA Reviews of supporting documentation for Functional Meetings. Proofread User Guides, Agendas, and Minutes, and cross-check referenced requirements, change requests, and bugs against Azure DevOps work items for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with each other and the J62CJ MedLog Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Provides direct support to the DMLSS Requirement Manager in coordinating and orchestrating the execution of the MedLog Business Review Board (BRB) requirements schedule.
  • Provides detailed analysis of monthly progress by MedLog development team in BRB execution by mining Azure DevOps requirements and task data. Presents briefings to MedLog leadership and generates dashboards for MedLog Project Leads.
  • Develops presentations and delivers technical and functional briefings to various technical and business audiences.
  • Develop or support the development and execution of project Quality Assurance activities. Develops and executes Test Plans and Test Cases documenting all results in Azure Dev Ops.

● Education: Bachelors degree
● Experience: 8+ years of related experience
● Technical skills: Microsoft Office applications, Power BI. Expertise in an enterprise Configuration Management Tools like Azure DevOps.
● Security clearance level: Public Trust NACLC
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: Required to be on client site 1-day per week. Could be increased per the discretion of the government

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $134,725 - $182,275. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
