Job Description

Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Cloud Operations Specialist supporting the mission of the Defense Health Agency (DHA).  You will play a crucial role on the ABACUS program (residing in AWS GovCloud), supporting Revenue Cycle Management Operations across 136 Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF) worldwide.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Lead/Manage/Support the ABACUS front end (Development) while supporting the Cloud Management/Engineering team.  This role is flex position that needs to be able to support Cloud Operations (AWS) and Engineering
  • Collaborate between the GDIT ABACUS team and the customer to achieve the mission
  • Drive efficiencies within AWS GovCloud to increase performance while lowering costs

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in information technology or related field or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
  • Required Experience: 1 + years of related experience
  • Required Technical Skills: Troubleshooting, integration and test strategies, and implementation; Healthcare data/PHI; Cloud operations; SQL; Windows; Certifications: TIA COMP Sec + is required
  • Attributes for Success: Must be a team player and have good communication with all levels of staff
  • Preferred Skills: 3 + years’ experience; AWS Cloud Practitioner preferred; Experience working with DHA/DoD; Amazon Web Services (AWS)/GovCloud; Citrix Administration; Optimizing systems operations
  • Location: 100% remote working
  • Security clearance level: Must pass a T3 background investigation; Secret eligible
  • US citizenship required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $64,230 - $83,950. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
