  • Providing customer-focused threat and intelligence analysis by translating complex technical and operational data into clear and concise assessments aligned to the customer’s mission, program objectives, and risk tolerances.
  • Identifying susceptibilities and vulnerabilities within systems, processes, and operational concepts, and assessing impacts to mission assurance, survivability, system integrity, and overall program risk.
  • Preparing and delivering briefings to key government and military customer personnel, including leadership and technical teams, to communicate findings, risk posture, and recommended mitigations strategies in a succinct manner.
  • Coordinate and maintain routine communication with intelligence community subject matter experts (SME) to validate analytical judgements, continuously refine program specific threat picture, and remain current on emerging and high-threat capabilities, intents and indicators relevant to the program.
  • Translate SME inputs into actionable risk management plans by assessing potential collection vectors and developing/recommending mitigation strategies to reduce / minimize identified risks to program operations.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated experience analyzing space systems, operational security considerations, and providing intelligence support to force modernization programs and capability development efforts.
  • Working knowledge and applied experience in information operations and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) analysis, with specific emphasis on communications networks, radio frequency phenomenology, and signals characterization/analysis.
  • Familiarity with the Intelligence Community and standard DoD intelligence information systems, and the ability to operate effectively within those environments.
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, including Program Protection / Technology Protection concepts and risk considerations associated with advanced capabilities.
  • Must be well-versed in applicable DoD, National and agency security policies, directives, manuals, standards, and instructions, and able to apply them properly to sensitive programs and mission sets.
  • Possess experience and familiarity with space modeling and simulation software. This includes proficiency with tools such as the Satellite Tool Kit (STK) or the Satellite Orbit Analysis Program (SOAP).
  • Working familiarity with multi-INT collection disciplines – including SIGINT, IMINT, ELINT, RADINT, and optical sensing, sufficient to understand collection methodologies, sensor capabilities and limitations, exploitation workflows, reporting outputs, and how each discipline can be applied to characterize systems, assess threats, and inform technical risk decisions.
