As a Logistician/Procurement Analyst to support PM FPS (Product Manager, Force Protection Systems) customer in SWA. The Logistician will support the customer’s logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities.
As a Logistician/Procurement Analyst you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter by supporting the mission of PM FPS (Product Manager, Force Protection Systems to include the full life cycle of logistics to support the current combat operations.
Support the customer’s logistics requirements through analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities conceptual stage through product cycle and other duties as assigned within the scope of the position requirements.
Procurement of products and goods for use by IBD-SS by identifying potential supplier based on program requirements, screening them, and negotiating favorable payment terms for the contract. Process purchase requests and Purchase orders to acquire goods.
Maintain files such as maintenance records, bills of lading, work orders, purchase requests and cost reports.
Revise production schedules, when necessary, due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions. Maintaining and adhering to the latest revision of the BOM and all other duties related to the scope of the Procurement and Planner Specialist
Coordinates the procurement of materials, products/services, and equipment necessary for the operation of the business unit or assigned projects. Ensures suppliers/vendors adherence to industry standards, technical quality standards, and other corporate/business unit driven expectations.
Develops and implements logistics program activities including ILS, technical documentation, RAM, provisioning, etc.; coordinates efforts of subcontractors and field service personnel; resolves logistics problems; and compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities
Maintain inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excess, moved, or in transit
Coordinate material handling support to include shipping, receiving, storage, and disposition of property, inspect inbound inventory for accuracy and completeness, defects or notable damage and log/report discrepancies.
Generate documentation and completing required forms for shipping to include Performa, ITAR, and other shipping documents and labels such as those required for hazardous materials
Collaborate with vendors, OEMs, FSRs and other customers to obtain information, reconcile inventory discrepancies, prepare RMAs, and obtain EDD/ECD dates
Maintain control of the Authorized Stockage Listing (ASL) and perform required inventories/audits.
Utilize GCSS-A, COLTS, or other government programs, or company database to perform data entry, research, and documentation of receiving issues
Other tasks as required based on mission requirements
What you’ll need to succeed
Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (experience will be considered in lieu of degree)
Experience: 5+ years of related experience
Security clearance level: Secret Clearance
On Customer Site Full Time
Technical skills: Import/Export (ITAR/EXIM) compliance experience with military transportation & logistics, MILAIR, USTRANSCOM, etc. and familiarity with DOD logistics practices and forms, such as DD250, DD1348, DD1149
Role requirements:

Withstand physical demands of seasonal hot or cold temperatures and willing to live and operate in an austere environment, and be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
Must also meet all medical deployment requirements through CRC.
Support personnel and customer will be based out of Kuwait on 48 hours work week, 8 hours per day, 6 days per week, however, must be willing to support extended hours as required by the mission
Personnel are expected to travel within SWA as required by mission.
May travel via military/commercial conveyances to outlying areas to support mission
Must be capable of meeting standards of fitness for deployment to the SWA of Operations and be able to withstand physical demands of seasonal hot or cold temperatures and willing to live and operate in an austere environment with the ability to meeting physical demands of the position that can included but not limited to: ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, kneel, squat, stand and other physical requirements to meet the position
Must be able to successfully be capable of meeting standards of fitness for deployment to the SWA of Operation yearly while residing on contract in SWA
Must have required PPE equipment required for SWA

The likely salary range for this position is $76,500 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
