PROGRAM SR MANAGER
Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers as a Senior Technical Program Manager. Here, you’ll see the bigger picture on mission initiatives and where your program management career can go at GDIT.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Senior Technical Program Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of USASOC's Office of ARSOF Autonomy. You will play a crucial role in translating customer requirements for training and technical delivery into sprint plans and customer deliverables focused on software engineering, UI/UX, data science, DevOps Engineering and Data Engineering.

Job Duties Include (but not limited to):  

  • Participate in development and management of project plans related to application development initiatives. (project planning and design, testing, implementation, and maintenance) 
  • Manage and prioritize tasking between the Solutions & Data Science, Skills, and Platform & DevOps teams. 
  • Gather and document requirements from government customers. 
  • Understand business requirements, goals, and risks to formulate and define technical scope and objectives of projects. 
  • Provide client support and consultation for project issues with a focus on improving business operations. 
  • Identify risks and issues throughout the project, monitor program deliverables, and initiate strategies and plans to ensure delivery of high-quality support. 
  • Create, maintain, and actively manage project schedules. 
  • Ensure that project documentation is created and is maintained. 
  • Escalate unresolved issues to Senior management.
  • Prepare and submit Monthly Status Report to include financial tracking artifacts
  • Plan and execute quarterly Program Increment
  • Identify organic growth opportunities and draft cost estimates and technical plans for new work
  • Lead procurement efforts for the government program team to include working with GDIT procurement specialists

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • Ability to learn on the job, be self-motivated. Must be able to anticipate problems, spot new business opportunities, and take a proactive approach to responsibilities. 
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Project. 
  • Experience with technical projects such as software deployment, enterprise systems, and infrastructure. 
  • A solid understanding and experience with DoD program financial management. 
  • A solid understanding of overall business functions and the impact of technical decisions on business results. 
  • Experience serving as a liaison to senior staff/leadership to facilitate timely information transfer and execution decisions.  
  • Experience with USSOCOM HQ and SOF elements. 
  • Strong background in procurement and SAFe/Agile planning
  • Have strong interpersonal skills to facilitate working within a team and build relationships with customers 
  • Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your program management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Program Sr Manager must have:

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience
  • Security clearance level: Secret required; TS/SCI desired
  • US citizenship required
  • Role requirements: Hybrid work environment with 3 days on site at Fort Bragg and two days Work From Home (WFH)

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $146,200 - $197,800. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
