As a Technology Training Program Team Leader supporting NIH, you will empower a world-renowned scientific community through high-quality, modern, and engaging technology training.

What You’ll Do
• Lead the design, customization, and delivery of technology training for NIH researchers, clinicians, administrators, and IT professionals

  • Create and maintain course schedule, ensuring a minimum of 10 courses are facilitated each month.
  • Evaluate course effectiveness and student satisfaction regularly, using feedback to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in training content, delivery, and learner engagement.
  • Partner with other trainers to share best practices, coordinate training efforts, and offer timely, constructive feedback to enhance overall program quality.
  • Engage with federal stakeholders to maintain up-to-date technical knowledge, ensuring training materials and processes reflect the current operational environment.
  • Teach virtual, classroom, hybrid, and hands‑on courses, plus provide one‑on‑one consultation support.
  • Support training operations by answering questions, providing technical assistance, and ensuring classroom coverage.
  • Create innovative training solutions that elevate learner experience and improve program efficiency.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge to meet evolving NIH training needs.
  • Tailor instruction for diverse audiences in a fast‑paced scientific and technical environment.
  • Develop SCORM‑ and Section 508‑compliant online content for the HHS Learning Management System.
  • Review and update training materials regularly to align with NIH technologies and software updates.
  • Support onboarding for Deskside new hires by teaching NIH-specific systems (ServiceNow, Remote Access tools, Active Directory, etc.).
  • Help ensure service continuity through cross-training and documentation.
  • Contribute to GDIT’s culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and mission-focused excellence.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field
• 5+ years of training or teaching experience
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• Experience designing training for broad and complex technical topics
• Ability to deliver instruction through multiple modalities
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Experience with enterprise technologies such as Microsoft 365 and Windows 11

Preferred

  • Experience training via MS Teams, Zoom, and other virtual platforms.
  • Experience with LMS platforms.
  • Strong PowerPoint and content‑creation skills.
  • Experience developing Section 508‑compliant training.


Security Clearance Level:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain an NIH Public Trust clearance

  • Bethesda, MD (Onsite with potential hybrid schedule; not a remote position)

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $83,927 - $113,549. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
