Software Engineer- TS/SCI with Polygraph

GDIT is seeking highly cleared creative software engineer candidate with active TS SCI w/Poly to support our customer by joining a small, energetic, versatile team building a high-visibility web application for managing facilities projects.  The selected candidate must be a self-starter, a team player, be highly collaborative and highly responsive.  Candidate will be expected to work as part of a team to architect, design, and build a new system to replace an existing COTS product.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Demonstrated hands on experience programming web and client/server applications using Java, Typescript/JavaScript, HTM, and CSS
• Demonstrated hands on experience with Spring Bot, Hibernate/JPA
• Demonstrated hands on experience with upgrading Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, especially from much older versions to newer versions
• Demonstrated hands on experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue, React, or Angular
• Demonstrated hands on experience with database design and querying (SQL, Oracle)
• Demonstrated hands on experience with version control such as Git (GitHub, Gitlab, etc.,)
• Demonstrated hands on experience with building APIs and services using REST

• Experience working in an Agile development environment

​DESIRED SKILLS:

• Demonstrated hands on experience with Linux-based or Windows based systems and shell scripting
• Demonstrated experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Demonstrated hands on experience with building automation technologies like Gradel, Maven, Jenkins, etc.,
• Demonstrated experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Cypress)
• Demonstrated experience with WebSphere or Tomcat
• Demonstrated experience with Maximo
• Demonstrated experience with Cognos
• Location: Chantilly, VA (On Customer Site)
• US Citizenship Required
• Security clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph
