Task Area Program Manager

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a Task Area Program Manager the work you’ll provide the full range of Customer Support and Engineering Services to meet the mission needs of the Department. This includes enhanced service delivery and response times to support all DT customers across all devices and services, utilizing a comprehensive and efficient approach to enable the Department’s global footprint, which encompasses approximately 175,000 desktops and laptops, and over 65,000 mobile phones and tablets.

The Contractor shall provide Endpoint Engineering Services, enabling the Department’s global workforce to operate security and efficiently, without interruption.  Utilizing commercial off the shelf (COTS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and other endpoint technologies to design, maintain, and support a comprehensive secure, efficient, high performing endpoint technology stack/ecosystem. Leads and manages a specific task area (e.g., Endpoint Management, IT Operations, Engineering Services). Responsible for delivery of all requirements within the assigned area, alignment with Department business lines, and supervision of project managers and technical staff.
 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Task Area Program Manager must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

  • 8+ years of experience managing IT projects or programs, with at least 3 years in a federal environment

  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred

  • Experience supervising technical teams and managing budgets

  • Active Secret security clearance. The ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance by the time of award as required by the contract

  • Work Experience: Manage and maintain enterprise endpoint protection tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Trellix, SentinelOne, etc.), ensuring all endpoints have active, properly configured, and updated security agents that provide continuous protection.

  • Work Experience: Design, build, and maintain the provisioning platforms (e.g., Microsoft Configuration Manager, Intune, and MDM tools)

  • Work Experience: Provide enterprise-wide endpoint patch management solution engineering, maintenance, and support

  • Work Experience: Design, engineering, configuration, sustainment, and technical support for secure voice and video communications systems’

  • Work Experience: Design, implement, and maintain the enterprise Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment, enabling secure, scalable, and high-performance virtual workspaces for employees, contractors, and partners

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $142,792 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
