Job Profile Summary: The Senior Data Analytics Developer (Qlik Sense/Advana) provides Qlik Sense expertise to support the Basing & Logistics Analytics Data Environment (BLADE) hosted on the DoD ADVANA Data Fabric, focusing on operational level (MAJCOM staff) and tactical-level (Wing and below) requirements gathering and development.
Job Description: The Senior Data Analytics Developer (Qlik Sense/Advana) works closely with business analysts, product owners, and key stakeholders to design, develop, and implement custom dashboards, visualizations, and reports within Qlik Sense to meet organizational needs. This includes creating custom reporting solutions, participating in Kanban/SCRUM sprints and summaries, and attending weekly SCRUMs and retrospectives. The Senior Data Analytics Developer (Qlik Sense/Advana)employs expert-level Structured Query Language (SQL) skills, enabling the creation and modification of complex queries, leverages established BLADE standards, policies, and processes across NIPR and SIPR environments to ensure interoperability and integration across the enterprise, and collaborates with the BLADE team to receive training, mentoring, and facilitation as needed. The Senior Data Analytics Developer (Qlik Sense/Advana) submits accurate BLADE requirements to the Basing and Logistics Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Steering Team (BLAAST).
Certifications:
Required: Possess and maintain DoWD 8570 IAT Level II Certification.
Optional: Qlik Sense certifications (e.g., Qlik Sense Business Analyst, Qlik Sense Data Architect)
TESA eligibility/certification required.
Specialized Experience:
Minimum/General Experience: This position requires a minimum of five years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in performing systems analysis, development, and implementation for business, mathematical, engineering or scientific settings using a variety of information technology resources. Requires experience with current technologies and, where required for the task, emerging technologies.
Minimum Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a curriculum or major field of study which provides substantial knowledge useful in managing large, complex AIS projects closely related to the work to be automated, and/or in a computer science, information system, a physical science, engineering or a mathematics - intensive discipline, or an applicable training certificate from an accredited training institution.

The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
