Job Description
GDIT is looking to fill an IT Quality Assurance Tester Principal position to join our team supporting the Indian Health Service (IHS) Electronic Health Record Modernization Program known as Patients at the Heart (PATH) EHR. Your efforts will serve to improve the patient experience and quality of care for over 600 facilities across 37 states serving the American Indian and Alaska Native populations.As an IT Quality Assurance Tester Principal, you will provide senior-level leadership across testing activities, including test planning, script authoring, scenario development, execution oversight, defect triage coordination, and cross-workstream alignment. You will work closely with other workstreams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and successful site implementations, while providing guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level testers.How an IT Quality Assurance Tester Principal will make an impact:
  • Lead development, documentation, and maintenance of comprehensive functional test scripts and testing artifacts.
  • Define and validate complex end-to-end testing scenarios
  • Facilitate and lead test plan and script review sessions with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Provide oversight and expert support for customer-led end-user testing cycles.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of regression testing suites
  • Lead validation of sustainment updates and assess downstream impacts.
  • Mentor, coach, and provide guidance to junior and mid-level test engineers.
  • Partner with workstream leadership to refine testing strategies, readiness criteria, and risk assessments.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years of experience in developing and executing Healthcare IT application tests
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Health’s EHR suite
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous testing experience of Oracle Health’s solution suite
  • Experience supporting Federal EHR programs
  • Knowledge of Medical Device interoperability and validation

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $97,968 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
