As a Systems Administrator, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission. You will play a crucial role in providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Systems Administrator Associate must have:
● Education: High School Diploma
● Experience: 1+ years of related experience
● Technical skills: Windows systems administration
● Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly
● US citizenship required
● DoW approved 8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification (CWIP) with valid OS and CE certifications
● Role requirements:
Provide installation of and troubleshooting support for systems applications and related peripheral hardware.
Deploy a variety of new hardware, software, and the upgrade of existing installations.
Prepare and maintain a range of documentation for processes and procedures related to computer systems and operations.
Provide incident response and performs customer support tasks.
Knowledge of Windows System Administration (system including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution).
Strong End-user support experience (1+ years of Customer support experience to include phone, email and in person contact as well as experience assisting end users with new desktop capabilities and/or software)
Cabling and system configuration experience with different networks and environments
Understanding of TCP/IP networking including VLANs, DHCP scopes and DNS
Demonstratable knowledge and understanding of troubleshooting and testing Cisco Switches
Proficient with network specific software and programs
Managing/Maintaining inventory of all IT related infrastructure

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
