General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is the prime contractor for the Flight School Training Support Services (FSTSS) program supporting the Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE). Located in Daleville, AL, GDIT owns and operates facilities that provide flight simulator training.

GDIT has an immediate opening for a Janitor in Daleville, Alabama. The candidate will be responsible for the daily cleaning of offices and common areas in Daleville and occasionally at Fort Rucker.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

• Vacuums, sweeps, mops, scrubs, and polishes floors
• Removes trash and other refuse
• Dusts equipment, furniture, and fixtures
• Polishes metal fixtures and trim
• Restocks supplies and performs minor maintenance services
• Cleans offices, lavatories, break rooms, and the lobby

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• Experience: 1 year of relevant experience
• Required Skills:
  • Basic cleaning skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently while following specific, detailed instructions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license
• Clearance: Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one
• Location: Onsite at Daleville, AL
