    • Standardize terminology, style, and formatting across proposals and related documents, adhering to established style guides and templates.
  • Collaboration with Technical & Proposal Teams
    • Work closely with engineers, systems analysts, project managers, and proposal managers to clarify technical concepts and ensure they are communicated effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
    • Analyze customer needs to determine functional and non-functional requirements for a wide variety of IT infrastructure and enterprise systems projects.
    • Participate in content development meetings, Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), and solution review sessions to understand the solution approach and messaging requirements.
    • Translate customer requirements into clear system specifications, use cases, and high-level architectures to guide solution design and technical approach.
    • Provide editorial guidance and coaching to authors and subject matter experts to improve the quality and coherence of their written contributions.
  • Proposal Support & Document Management
    • Support the full proposal lifecycle, including storyboarding, draft reviews, pink/red team revisions, and final production of proposal volumes and supporting documents.
    • Assist in organizing and maintaining proposal content libraries, reference materials, and reusable text, ensuring they are current, accurate, and easy to use.
    • Coordinate version control and document tracking to maintain a clear audit trail of changes throughout proposal development.
  • Messaging & Customer Deliverables
    • Develop and refine program-related messaging, including executive summaries, technical narratives, and key win themes that highlight GDIT’s value proposition.

    • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies, customer environments, and industry terminology to accurately interpret and present technical content.
    • Participate in special projects as required to support proposal excellence and communications best practices.
