SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR SENIOR
The Systems Administrator Senior shall be responsible for analyzing information requirements. This individual will evaluate system problems of workflow, organization, and planning. This individual shall also develop appropriate corrective action. The Systems Administrator Senior shall provide technical and business support for all custom applications developed under this contract or its predecessors, the hardware and virtual infrastructure, network, and communications infrastructure. This position shall act as coordination point between other agencies, user groups, the project team and state personnel in the areas of network policy
compliance, security patching/compliance and systems configuration management. The Systems Engineer shall be responsible for the planning and execution of configuration changes to support network policy compliance, security patching/compliance and will utilize all department required reporting/ticketing/monitoring tools to support all systems as directed by State personnel.
Education:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline; or
three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.
General Experience: The proposed candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience in systems
engineering.

• Windows 2022 Servers
• Active Directory
• DNS
• Networking

• Knowledge of video devices such as cameras, encoders, decoders, etc.
Additional Information:
• Maryland resident
• Work 5 days a week at client site in Hanover, MD (eligible for Hybrid work after 3 months)
• After hours on call rotation (one week every 5 weeks

The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $117,300. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
