Deputy Program Manager - TS/SCI w/Poly

What You’ll Achieve

GDIT is seeking a mission‑focused Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to support an upcoming task order on an IDIQ contract. As a key leader on this high‑visibility national security program, the DPM assists the Program Manager in all aspects of contract execution, delivery, operational oversight, and coordination with Sponsor stakeholders. The DPM also serves as the acting PM during absences and plays a central role in ensuring technical, operational, and administrative performance across the Task Order.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support the Program Manager across all areas of contract execution, performance management, and Sponsor engagement.
  • Serve as the acting PM when required, ensuring continuous leadership presence and alignment with Sponsor priorities.
  • Manage day‑to‑day operations, including planning, resource allocation, and delivery of contract requirements.
  • Ensure project deliverables are met within established timelines, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Support integration and alignment across functions such as strategic support, collection engineering, DevSecOps, user experience, systems integration/testing, and O&M as defined in the SOW.
  • Coordinate with the Sponsor’s COTR and Government Task Managers to ensure clarity, compliance, and successful execution of SOW requirements.
  • Collaborate across contractor teams and external stakeholders to maintain open communication and operational continuity.
  • Support risk management, audit preparation, and process reviews as required under program management responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
  • 5+ years of professional program management experience in the intelligence community.
  • 5+ years of direct experience designing, documenting, and implementing enterprise‑level operational teams in a technology environment.
  • 5+ years of experience managing internal/external audits, RACI framework implementation, and business process reviews.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience supporting or integrating with OSINT‑focused mission systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in dynamic, multi‑contractor environments.
  • Familiarity with SOW‑aligned areas such as Strategic Support, Collection Systems Engineering, DevSecOps, UI/UX, Systems Integration, O&M, and A&A support.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
