FIELD ENGINEERING MANAGER

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Field Engineering Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of Customs and Border Protection. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the schedule, quality, scope and budget program standards are met on the CTSE program.
● Lead/Manage/Support- Role requires leadership of smaller teams in the field during operations and deployments. Will require management of resources and materials along with support of program goals.
● Collaborate with the internal GD program team and other government stakeholders
● Drive- Always push for Safety, Quality, Schedule and Budget control
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your Field Engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Field Engineering Manager must have:
● Experience: 15+ years of related experience
● Technical skills: Expert in programming, staging and integrating complex systems to include: Microwave Radio systems, Radar Systems, IR and Optical Camera systems, Edge compute devices, Commercial Tower systems, Solar and battery backup power systems.
● Security clearance level: BI from DHS required
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: Travel will be required ~50% of time

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
