Job Description

SENIOR INTELLIGENCE ANALYST - WATCH ANALYST

The All-Source Intelligence Team Lead provides senior-level analytic leadership in support of USCYBERCOM intelligence operations and planning. This position leads all-source analysts conducting integrated intelligence analysis using classified and unclassified information to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain cyber-related national security issues that are regional or functional in nature. The Team Lead ensures analytic rigor, tradecraft compliance, and operational relevance while providing direct analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and defense intelligence requirements. A strong SIGINT background supporting all source production and intelligence support to operational is an essential requirement of this position.


MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As an Intelligence Analyst Senior, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of CYBERCOM J2. You will play a crucial role in the following mission support functions:

Intelligence Support to Planning and Operations:

  • Provide all-source IPoE support to offensive and defensive cyber operations (OCO/DCO), including cyber intelligence estimates and direct support to Intelligence Planning Teams (IPTs).

Threat Trends and Indicators:

  • Produce cyber threat bulletins, briefs, and warning products identifying changes in adversary TTPs and technical trends impacting the DoDIN and U.S. critical infrastructure/key resources (CI/KR). Support USCYBERCOM’s role in the Defense Warning Program through indicator development and threat monitoring.

Cyber Exercise Support:

  • Support cyber-related exercises through scenario development, white cell participation, and role-playing as required.

Staff and Executive Support:

  • Respond rapidly to USCYBERCOM J2 and staff requests for information; support meetings, working groups, and briefings across the Command and external partner organizations.

Product Development and Dissemination:

  • Lead the production, editing, publishing, and dissemination of timely, accurate, and decision-focused cyber intelligence products.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Required Experience
  • Extensive experience conducting and leading all-source intelligence analysis in support of cyber operations.

  • Extensive SIGINT experience supporting operations.

  • Demonstrated expertise applying ODNI and DIA analytic tradecraft standards, including ICD 203.

  • Experience supporting operational planning, intelligence production, and mission execution within a combatant command or equivalent environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including senior-leader briefing experience.

  • Proven ability to lead analytic teams, manage production workflows, and ensure product quality and timeliness.

  • Certification or documented experience/coursework meeting DoD Directive 8570.01 requirements for IAT Level I or IAM Level I.

EDUCATION:

Master’s degree with 12 years related experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 17 years related experience. Degree desired in Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.


SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:
Top Secret, SCI eligible and ability to pass a CI polygraph


US citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting USCYBERCOM, Cyber Mission Forces, or cyber-focused intelligence organizations.

  • Experience with MIDB target development and cyber entity validation.

  • Experience supporting operational surges and time-sensitive intelligence requirements.

  • Familiarity with cyber-related intelligence exercises and Defense Warning activities.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $142,792 - $178,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
