Job Description
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Security+ CE certification (required)
  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or security operations
  • Strong administration experience with:
    • Tenable Nessus
    • Tenable Security Center
    • Tenable Agents
    • Qualys Platform
    • Qualys VMDR
    • Qualys CAR
    • Qualys Policy Assessment (PA)
    • Splunk (SIEM)
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Vulnerability scanning methodologies and CVSS scoring
    • Risk-based vulnerability management
    • Operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix)
    • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, firewalls)
    • SIEM operations, alerting, and dashboard creation
  • Strong analytical skills/problem solving/conceptual thinking
  • Broad technical background utilizing security technologies, such as Server and Workstation Operating Systems, Network Security.
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation.
  • Strong written and verbal skills

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $109,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
