Job Description

Apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as a Subcontracts Administrator at GDIT. Here, you’ll support solving some of our clients’ biggest challenges and help us grow the business.

Our work depends on Subcontracts Administrator to provide support and subject matter expertise related to the subcontract life-cycle (but not limited to) Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Proposals, Subcontract Negotiation, Purchase Orders and Closeout.

HOW A SUBCONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Develops and administers subcontracts and other agreements of intermediate value and risk in accordance with client requirements and GDIT policies and procedures
  • Creates subcontract solicitations
  • Supports proposal efforts
  • Negotiates price/cost and subcontract or other agreement provisions, including conducting Fair and Reasonable determinations and completing Price Analyses
  • Reviews and routes subcontract invoices for stakeholder review, approval, and payment
  • Compiles reports for Subcontracts and/or Project Management
  • Works with other program and functional area staff
  • Ensures compliance with company policy, regulation, and performance parameters
  • Participates in and/or manages special projects as required

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: 2+ years of related experience within Subcontracts Administration
  • Required Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced skill level with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio) and SharePoint
  • Role Requirements: Comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned subcontracts, including FAR, DFAR, and CAS. Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures, and processes involved in subcontract administration.
  • US Persons required
  • Location: This is a hybrid position working from our GDIT facility in Herndon, VA. Must be comfortable working onsite for a minimum of three (3) days a week.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $74,335. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
