Job Description

Operations Manager supporting NIAID’s Enterprise Collaboration and Power Platform environments. This role oversees SharePoint On‑Prem, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure API Management, and end-user support operations. Ensures reliable platform performance, secure operations, and effective service delivery across BPIMB environments.

Key Responsibilities

SharePoint On‑Prem & Online Operations

  • Manage SharePoint services, configurations, backups, and updates
  • Automate tasks using PowerShell and conduct regular system health checks
  • Manage site collections, sharing controls, app catalogs, and migrations

Power Platform Administration

  • Manage environments (Dev/Test/Prod), security roles, and DLP policies
  • Implement ALM, CI/CD pipelines, and solution lifecycle management
  • Support citizen developers and enforce governance frameworks

Azure API Management

  • Configure API gateways, enforce security policies, and manage versioning
  • Monitor and optimize API performance using Azure monitoring tools

Maintenance & Support

  • Deliver timely maintenance, outages, and root-cause analysis
  • Maintain SOPs and ensure documentation stays current in the OCICB Knowledge Base
  • Oversee Tier 1 help desk support and application performance monitoring

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • 7–12 years platform administration / end‑user support experience
  • Expert knowledge of SharePoint On‑Prem, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform
  • Experience with SPFx, Node.js, Power Fx, CSS/HTML/JS, and React
  • Experience with Azure API Management and API gateway configuration
  • NIH/HHS experience preferred (5+ years)
  • Experience with HHS EPLC
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and operational leadership skills

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $113,347 - $153,353. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
