MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Senior Clinical Science Advisor, the work you’ll do at GDIT will directly support the mission of Federal Health agencies within the Department of Health & Human Services. You will play a crucial role in advancing evidence-based policy initiatives, clinical trial innovation, regulatory transformation, and real-world data services that improve health outcomes and accelerate scientific decision making. You will also provide broad consulting with technical Federal Health teams to address the customer’s clinical science needs across biomedical, public health, and regulatory domains.

·       Provide scientific advising and consulting across a range of biomedical, clinical, and public health areas, ensuring sound methodology, scientific integrity, and alignment with agency standards.

·       Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams—including data scientists, program managers, policy experts, and customer stakeholders—to ensure scientific rigor and mission alignment.

·       Drive scientific insight, problem solving, and recommendations that enable customers to modernize workflows, accelerate program execution, and achieve measurable mission impact.

·       Serve as a scientific reviewer and advisor for program initiatives, supporting study design, evidence generation, data interpretation, and best practices for evaluation.

·       Utilize expertise in regulatory science, biomedical research, and evidence frameworks to guide program decisions, develop methodologies, and support mission-critical projects.
