Job Description

Knowledge Manager

Advance the way our customers operate and advance your own career at the same time. Join GDIT as a Knowledge Manager at the Joint Multinational Simulation Center – Indo Pacific (JMSC‑IP), the Pacific’s premier simulation hub. In this role, you’ll help shape mission‑critical training and innovation across the region. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

  • Establish, implement, and execute Standard Operating Procedures for Knowledge Management of JMSC-IP information

  • Operate and maintain current and future knowledge management systems and tools, such as MS Outlook, Army 365 SharePoint, MS Teams, and Power BI

  • Create, modify, and maintain the Army365 MTC SharePoint and MS Teams portals accessible to unclassified users via the Government-provided Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) and accessible to classified users via the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET); create SharePoint portal to feature both outward-facing and inward-facing sites  

  • Establish a procedure for granting access to knowledge management systems and tools to the Contractor and Government staff

  • Support customer and contract AI initiatives

  • Provide content management for all KM systems and tools

  • Conduct Knowledge Management training as required

  • Perform other duties as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Organizational Development, or Business Admin or combined relevant experience

  • Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience; military experience preferred; MTC experience preferred

  • Required Technical Skills:

    • Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) certification preferred (within 6 months of hire)

    • Extremely proficient with Knowledge/Content Management Systems Tools (i.e. SharePoint, MS Teams, WordPress, etc.)

    • Familiarity with MS Power BI dashboards and reporting

  • Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance required

  • Required Skills and Abilities:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • Superb organizational skills

    • Expert with Microsoft Office suite of tools

    • Expert knowledge of all current collaboration tools

    • Capable to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision

  • Location: On Customer Site

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $81,349 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
