HOW A FULL STACK .NET DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Design and develop healthcare applications using FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standards.
  • Implement SMART on FHIR applications that integrate with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for healthcare data exchange.
  • Implement OAuth2 and OpenID Connect authentication flows for SMART applications.
  • Integrate applications with major EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or other FHIR-enabled systems.
  • Develop FHIR resources, profiles, extensions, and implementation guides.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Perform data mapping and transformation between legacy healthcare formats (HL7 v2, CDA) and FHIR.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree computer science or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience with front end development using ASP.NET.
  • 5+ years’ experience, of which at least 3 years must be specialized experience, including the design and development of health care systems or experience in providing information system security support for such systems.
  • General experience includes information system requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing.
  • Strong proficiency in .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, MVC.
  • C#, Dapper, and Entity Framework (or other ORM)
  • Experience in Blazor, Razor, and Bootstrap frameworks.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in user-centered and accessibility-centered design, with the ability to translate design into code effectively.
  • Experience with REST, SOA/web service architectures.
  • SQL/SQLite, RavenDB/MongoDB experience.
  • 3 years working knowledge and experience with Agile development processes.
  • 3 years UI/UX Development or Design Experience Experience with HTML5, Java Script, and CSS.
  • FHIR APIs aligned with CMS interoperability mandates
  • Experience developing SMART on FHIR applications.
  • Strong understanding of FHIR resources, profiles, bundles, and terminology services.
  • Experience implementing OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect authentication flows.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 v2, CDA, and FHIR.
    Experience integrating with Epic, Cerner, or other EHR systems using FHIR APIs.
  • Experience with SMART App Launch Framework.
  • Knowledge of US Core Implementation Guide and healthcare interoperability frameworks.
    Experience with clinical workflows or healthcare applications.
  • Familiarity with FHIR testing tools and validators.
  • Strengths in accessibility-centered design and/or user-centered design.
  • Ability to translate design artifacts into usable code.

DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Experience with the Indian Health Service, RPMS and/or Veterans Administration VistA EHR systems.

SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:

  • Must be able to obtain an appropriate level Public Trust.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $97,968 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
