MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Cyber/IT Governance Security Sr Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission. You will play a crucial role in maturing the Governance Framework at GDIT.
● Lead/Manage/Support Cyber and IT functions in support of the Governance Framework
● Collaborate with all core GDIT corporate functions
● Drive risk and compliance outcomes for the GDIT enterprise network
● Utilize deep understanding of compliance frameworks and risk management to ensure organizational accountability
 


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your cyber expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Information Security Sr Manager must have:
● Education: Bachelor's degree required
● Experience: 10+ years of related experience
● Technical skills: Proven experience implementing and managing governance, risk, and compliance frameworks (ie. CMMC, ISO, or NIST)
● US Person
● Role requirements:

  • - Strategic thinking and the ability to align governance efforts with business goals.

  • - In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.

  • - Proficiency in tools and platforms related to cyber governance and risk management.

  • - Strong understanding of federal regulatory and compliance requirements across agencies.

  • - Ability to assess cybersecurity risks and implement controls to mitigate risks.

  • - Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • - Leadership and mentoring capabilities to guide and grow a team.

  • - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • - Collaborative mindset to work with business units, senior executives, and external partners.

  • - Strong problem-solving capabilities.

● Preferred Skills:

  • Experience w/ government contracting or federal environment preferred
  • Experience w/ NIST 800-171, NIST 800-053 preferred

● Location: Hybrid to Falls Church or Herndon, VA office min 3+ days/week

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $164,382 - $199,525. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
