Job Description

Join General Dynamics IT and be part of a team that solves some of the world's most complex technical challenges. The HADES program is searching for a Cybersecurity Lead with expertise in security architecture, engineering, and compliance to join their program onsite in Albuquerque, NM.

In this position, you will drive the technical security vision while ensuring regulatory compliance for a mission-critical satellite ground system supporting the U.S. Space Force.

This multi-faceted role balances architecture design, security engineering implementation, and compliance oversight to deliver robust security solutions that meet DoW and Space Force requirements. You will lead the technical security strategy while navigating the compliance landscape to protect critical space assets and communications infrastructure.

Architecture & Engineering:

  • Oversee the design of comprehensive security architectures incorporating defense-in-depth and Zero Trust principles
  • Direct implementation of security controls across network, endpoint, and data protection domains
  • Lead security technology evaluation, integration, and automation initiatives
  • Guide secure DevSecOps practices and security testing procedures
  • Provide technical leadership for security operations and incident response
  • Proven security architecture design and control implementation abilities

RMF & Compliance:

  • Lead ATO process and security control implementation based on NIST SP 800-53 and DoW requirements
  • Oversee security assessments and manage POA&M remediation efforts
  • Ensure proper eMASS usage and maintain CSRMC knowledge
  • Act as technical security liaison with Space Force stakeholders
  • Experience with security technologies and assessment tools

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of security experience with expertise in architecture and DoW   compliance
  • Zero Trust experience
  • Experience designing security solutions for complex DoW/IC systems
  • Proven RMF knowledge and ATO achievement experience
  • Understanding of NIST controls, DISA STIGs, and DoW security directives
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level III certification (CISSP, CISM, etc.)
  • Experience with SAP environments
  • Active TS/SCI clearance and SAP eligibility

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $147,292 - $199,278. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
