ENGINEERING MANAGER

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As an Engineering Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of delivering unified communications to our customer. You will play a crucial role in leading a team in providing Telecommunications, Video and Voice customized services and support.


Manages assigned staff which includes subordinate supervisors.
May manage the development of policies and procedures and ensures their conformance with the departments goals and company/customer objectives.
Manages the development and administration of schedule and performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.
Manages and prioritizes engineering needs and analyzes project costs and feasibility.
Keeps well-informed of new technologies and industry best practices and trends and then plans and advises for implementation.
May oversee ordering process to effectively and economically meet objectives.
Manages vendor relationships and billing reconciliations.
Provides guidance and solutions to ensure the engineering needs align with the strategic departmental initiatives.
SCOPE: Manages a medium sized team consisting of multiple disciplines.

● Education: Engineering Degree
● Experience: 9+ years of related experience
● Technical skills: Unified Communications (Voice/Video/IT)
● Role requirements: On-site required (OKC).

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
