MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

The ServiceNow Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and day‑to‑day support of the ServiceNow platform. This role ensures the platform operates efficiently, aligns with organizational processes, and evolves to meet business needs. The ideal candidate brings both technical expertise and a process‑driven mindset, enabling them to translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.

  • Manage, configure, and maintain core ServiceNow modules including Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform stability.

  • Create and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, workflows, and notifications.

  • Support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Servers.

  • Maintain user roles, groups, ACLs, and permissions.

  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes and ensure proper access governance.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and improve ITSM processes.

  • Recommend platform enhancements and implement best practices aligned with ITIL standards.

  • Plan and execute platform upgrades, patches, and releases.

  • Validate functionality post‑upgrade and ensure compatibility with customizations.

  • Maintain system documentation, configuration records, and knowledge articles.

  • Provide training and support to end users and internal teams.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The ServiceNow Administrator must have:

  • Security clearance level: TS/SCI

  • US citizenship required

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator (typically 2–5 years).

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, ITSM modules, and platform capabilities.

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
