This team includes an exciting portfolio of programs comprised of building and supporting technical solutions to foster customer mission success - from service delivery to large-scale supply chains, mission support, cloud, AI/ML, cyber security, data analytics and more. 

Our work depends on a Director and Account Manager for Department of Treasury and IRS to set vision, build strategy, provide operational excellence, and help position GDIT as a strategic partner across our financial agency customers.  As the Account Executive, you will promote GDIT’s Brand Awareness, Manage current and new programs, and position GDIT as a Thought Leader. You will leverage existing relationships and build new ones with key Department of Treasury decision makers, including CIOs, CTOs, and other key influencers to identify, open and pursue new paths to market. The successful candidate will be adept at building relationships with the Treasury CIO and CTO organizations as well as experience successfully managing a portfolio of programs and contracts.

You will help the Treasury meet their current and emerging mission needs, provide leadership and foster a high performing team environment, lead GDIT to grow and expand new business areas, while meeting or exceeding revenue and profit targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interface with our Department of Treasury customer to align GDIT core capabilities and strengths to meet the mission needs of the bureaus

  • Develop relationships with key federal government decision makers and influencers

  • Strengthen alignment of organizational capabilities to client needs and mission excellence

  • Lead the execution of a portfolio of multiple projects teams to execute diverse IT programs across the Treasury bureaus

  • Build and strengthen strategic partnerships (internal and external) to bring the totality of GDIT capabilities to the Treasury to meet their mission objectives

  • Develop and lead the portfolio���s project managers and staff and develop a collaborative team culture

  • Lead the protection of the Sector’s base work and lead its growth and expansion into new business areas

  • Participate in all phases of the capture and growth life-cycle, providing the “voice of the customer”, including color reviews and proposal and content development

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to obtain relevant Department of Treasury clearances

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, 20+ years of progressive Federal Civilian leadership experience as either a civil servant or contractor with responsibility for $50M+ federal budget or annual revenues

  • Candidates must have in-depth leadership experience supporting programs in federal financial agencies, with IRS preferred

  • Proven experience driving culture and leading a dynamic mission-focused team through transformation.

  • Strong strategic development and implementation experience, directing multiple large teams

  • Experience with federal proposal processes, delivery and execution

  • Proven aptitude for teaching, coaching and mentoring talent  

  • Local to the DC metro area is preferred, and ability to travel to program sites and customer meetings, as needed, is required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
