MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:
As a Release Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of USCENTCOM.
Responsibilities:
Serve as an interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on technical and program/project issues
Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects
Acts as primary liaison between Program Management and other functional groups and resolves any issues regarding configuration management documentation
Integrates software, develops external interfaces, and maintains technical documentation
Establishes, documents, implements, manages, and monitors the release management process in line with overall objectives, and ensure program-wide compliance
Measures and monitors progress to help ensure application/version releases are delivered in a timely manner and meet expectations
Helps define exact content and roll out plan for a release, aligned with change management processes
Helps identify all applicable stakeholders per release, notifies, communicates, and manages expectations as required during the planning and roll out of new release
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Release Manger must have:
Experience: 5+ years managing configuration control in Defense or enterprise IT environments
Technical skills:
Familiarity with configuration management tools and CMDB platforms (e.g. , BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Snipe-IT, Excel-based tracking); Knowledge of Windows and network device configurations (e.g. Cisco IOS)
Experience interpreting DISA STIGs, RMF controls, and change documentation.
Attention to detail and strong documentation practices and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (Cyber, Ops, Engineering).
Understanding of version control, baseline management, and Defense configuration policies
Desired Skills
IAT Level II (e.g. Security+ CE); Preferred: ITIL v4 Foundation, Configuration Management Professional (CMP) cert, or equivalent
Experience supporting US Central Command systems and theater mission enclaves; Prior involvement in CAB processes, POA&M tracking, and RMF audits; Ability to develop configuration documentation
Working knowledge of ServiceNow
Required Security clearance level: Active SECRET clearance required (TS/SCI preferred or ability to obtain)
US citizenship required due to clearance requirement.

The likely salary range for this position is $112,840 - $131,100. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
