TPA Core Services Business Analyst

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a TPA Core Services Business Analyst at GDIT. Here, you’ll enable the success of one of the most critical federal healthcare missions and support high‑quality administrative services for the World Trade Center Health Program.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a TPA Core Services Business Analyst, the work you’ll do at GDIT will directly support the mission of the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP). You will play a crucial role in ensuring business requirements, workflows, and system interactions across Third Party Administrator (TPA) core services are clear, aligned, and ready for accurate and compliant healthcare delivery.

● Lead requirements elicitation, documentation, and refinement activities that directly support eligibility, claims, provider management, member services, and payment workflows.
● Collaborate with cross‑functional technical teams, operational staff, system vendors, QA testers, and government stakeholders to ensure requirements and workflows align with system capabilities and mission needs.
● Drive accurate outcomes by validating workflow logic, supporting testing efforts, ensuring requirements traceability, and resolving issues that impact TPA operations.
● Utilize requirements management tools, workflow modeling skills, healthcare administrative expertise, and integration analysis techniques to support seamless operational execution.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The TPA Core Services Business Analyst must have:

Education: Technical training, certification(s), or degree
Experience: 3+ years of related experience (healthcare operations, payer systems, or federal program support preferred)
Technical skills: Experience with requirements management, workflow/process mapping, EDI or API integrations, eligibility and claims systems, Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
Security clearance level: MB(T2)
US citizenship required
Role requirements: Ability to collaborate with technical and operational teams; familiarity with HIPAA and secure handling of PHI/PII; experience validating system behavior; 0–10% travel as needed

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $64,230 - $80,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
