Job Description

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Senior Contracts Manager you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. In this role, the Senior Contracts Manager will support DOW Customers, you will be trusted to manage and resolve actions timely.

HOW A SENIOR CONTRACTS MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Manages contracts administrators
  • Manages the negotiation and administration of assigned contracts, ensuring contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions
  • Negotiates contracts, including price, terms and conditions, and reviews contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to execution
  • Ensures internal contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance with designated management objectives
  • Serves as point of contact with internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related contracts administration experience. In lieu of degree, 9+ years of related contracts administration experience required.
  • Required Technical Skills: Microsoft Office Suite
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned including FAR and DFAR. Effective administrative, organizational, and communication skills. Understanding of business acumen. Previous leadership experience.
  • Preferred Skills and Abilities: Professional certification (e.g., CPCM/CFCM). 5-10 years of related contracts management experience.
  • Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
  • Location: This position requires to work in our GDIT facility in Chesapeake, VA. Must be able to work in the office 5 days/week.
  • US Citizenship required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $139,696 - $188,999. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
