Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to support, enhance, and optimize our enterprise case‑management and CRM ecosystem. This role is responsible for maintaining platform stability, improving business workflows, supporting end users, and partnering with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that align with organizational goals.

As a Salesforce Administrator, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of USPS. You will play a crucial role in optimizing the business functions at USPS.

The integration of Salesforce technologies is essential to streamline these processes and provide data-driven insights. The ideal candidate brings strong Salesforce administration skills and a proactive mindset toward system improvements and user enablement.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Salesforce Admin must have:
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited College/University is preferred.
  • Alternative Path: If the candidate does not possess a relevant four-year degree, an additional four years of relevant work experience will be required.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of Information Technology experience.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of Required Technical Skills including:
    • Manage day‑to‑day administration of Salesforce, including user management, profiles, roles, permission sets, and security controls.
    • Configure and maintain objects, fields, page layouts, record types, flows, validation rules, and automation.
    • Monitor system health, data integrity, and platform performance.
  • Support release management, sandbox refreshes, and deployment activities.
  • Support integration between Salesforce, Mitratech Case Cloud, and other enterprise systems.
  • Maintain data quality through audits, deduplication, and data governance practices.
  • Assist with data imports, exports, and reporting needs.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance system usability.
  • Participate in roadmap planning and contribute to system strategy.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and Mitratech Case Cloud updates.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience with Salesforce Case Cloud
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM‑201).
  • Experience with Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or custom case management solutions.
  • Familiarity with legal operations, compliance workflows, or case management processes.
  • Experience with reporting tools (Salesforce Reports & Dashboards, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.

Security Clearance Level:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting
  • This position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $96,569 - $130,651. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
