Job Description

Deliver insights to help our clients turn data into action as a Data Analyst at GDIT. Your work will provide transformative solutions to our clients’ big-data obstacles and help advance the mission. Here, you can make a meaningful impact on our clients’ mission and on your career.

Our work depends on a Data Analyst joining our team to develop customer dashboards, perform deep dive analytics, and deliver customer solutions. As a Data Analyst, you will support customers within GDIT to fulfill multiple federal agency missions.

The TSS Data and Analytics team uses a variety of tools including Azure and Azure DevOps, AWS, and Tableau. The Tableau dashboards provide program management and financial dashboards to customers allowing them to manage risk and provide the essential reporting to their government customers.

GDIT is committed to fostering economic growth and prosperity in Louisiana with an established operation at our Integrated Technology Center in Bossier City, LA.  This position requires 3 days of work per week at our office.

HOW A DATA ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Support the preparation and maintenance of NICE CXone reports, dashboards, and data extracts used to monitor contact center performance and operational trends
  • Assist with validating data, updating recurring reports, and documenting reporting requirements and outputs
  • Helps analyze standard metrics such as call volume, wait times, service levels, and agent productivity
  • Conduct market research and practice industry best practices for decision-making
  • Creating, refining, and delivering reports, dashboards, and database solutions for internal or external purposes
  • Provide data analytics and key insights
  • Highlight and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance across different sections
  • Collaborate with a team of developers, analysts, and engineers to determine feature requests, priorities, dashboards, and solutions.
  • Writing user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, and retrospectives to improve Agile development processes. 
  • Performing Quality Assurance (QA) testing of new features to ensure that requirements are met, and the resulting user experience works as intended.
  • Participating in and supporting user acceptance testing and the deployment of the solution to production.
  • Preparing and conducting presentations and training materials.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation.
  • Collaborate with a team of developers, analysts, and engineers to deliver on-time Agile sprint releases.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: BA/BS (or equivalent years of experience)

Required Experience: 2+ years of experience

Security Clearance Level:  Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a position of Public Trust (DHS HQ EOD required to be obtained before start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability to maintain employment)

US Citizenship ​Required

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong Excel background; familiarity with other Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong data validation and quality assurance skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities at any given time.
  • Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs
  • Experience developing dashboards using Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools to create professional content
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present to business leaders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Familiarity with NICE CXone or similar tool(s)
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tool(s)

Work Location: Candidates must reside within the state of Louisiana and be able to work a hybrid schedule at GDIT's Integrated Technology Center in Bossier City, LA.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
