Job Description

Please take this opportunity to join one of GDIT’s fastest long-standing growing programs! US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team. 

We are seeking an experienced COMSEC Manager to lead the administration, control, and protection of Communications Security (COMSEC) equipment, keying material, and cryptographic programs. This role ensures the secure operation of classified and unclassified networks, enabling mission‑critical communications for U.S. Combatant Commands and allied partners. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in COMSEC operations, CCI accountability and lifecycle management, and strict adherence to NSA, DoD, and U.S. Air Force cryptographic policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:    

  • Support COMSEC account operations, including receiving, inventorying, testing, storing, shipping, and managing CCI and keying material.
  • Implement cryptographic programs and maintain NSA Type 1 encrypted communication channels.
  • Follow CNSS, NSA, AFMAN 17-1302-O, DISN, MPCO, and NISPOM policies.
  • Maintain troubleshooting guides and conduct testing/evaluation of CCI devices.
  • Support COMSEC facility management, including secure storage up to Top Secret and audit preparation.
  • Courier classified material up to Secret upon approval.
  • Use remote key management tools (e.g., GEM X Encryption Manager) to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure personnel complete all required COMSEC training; develop SOPs and training programs.   

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of related logistics work experience.
  • BA/BS – may substitute additional years of experience
  • Active top secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Familiarity with COMSEC handling/storage requirements.
  • Experience with export/import documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Experience with Enterprise Licensing Agreements and EULAs.
  • Experience with ServiceNow

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $70,658 - $91,425. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
