Job Description

The Strategic Initiatives Manager assists the GDIT Air & Space Forces Sector Sr. Director of Strategic Initiatives with the implementation of growth strategies and goals. The Manager interacts with leadership across the Sector.  Shall interface with GDIT Sr. Director of SI, Business Area leads, program managers, and Corporate Growth.  Assists with the capture of new business opportunities and recompetes and assists with proposal efforts. Must possess excellent oral and written communications.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

  • Works with Sr. Director of Strategic Initiatives and Sector BD lead to ensure BD pipeline matches Sector’s strategic vision; quality and integrity of pipeline data is maintained.

  • Manages Capture activities for Sector level pursuits. Usually $60M or less.

  • Collaborates with BD/Capture on upcoming actions, required In-Process Reviews and Pursuit Reviews for Sector level pursuits.

  • Reviews Salesforce data for integrity. Works with Growth and Sector resources to update.

  • Participates in a wide variety of reviews throughout the capture and proposal lifecycle including black hats, capture reviews, Pursuit & Strategy Reviews, and color team reviews.

  • Monitor program Periods of Performance and ensure Business Area leads are effectively engaging with their program/project managers and customers to prepare for recompetes.

  • Participates in all relevant Sector weekly/monthly meetings.

  • Participates/leads special projects as required.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Air & Space Forces Sector Strategic Initiatives Manager must have:
● Education: Bachelor's degree required
● Experience: 7+ years of related experience
● Technical skills:

  • Strong Artificial Intelligence (AI) proficiency.

  • MS Office

● Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements:

  • Experience in Business Development, Proposals, and BD Operations.

  • Experience participating in the capture and winning of multiple $50M+ opportunities.

● Ability to travel as required to various sites. (20%)

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $144,500 - $195,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
