Job Description

Seeking an experienced engineer to provide enterprise IT systems support and Unified Communications (UC)/video engineering across multiple secure, geographically dispersed environments. Role includes Tier II support, UC/video design and deployment, lifecycle engineering, system hardening, and supervision of IT staff using ITIL best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier II support for Windows, Linux, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP/DFS, and enterprise applications
  • Troubleshoot system, application, and performance issues; deliver remote desktop support
  • Support Cisco-based video/UC infrastructure and Microsoft Teams environments
  • Troubleshoot video endpoints; support call scheduling and in-room sessions
  • Develop operation documentation, SOPs, and Knowledge Base articles
  • Apply DISA STIG/SCAP security hardening
  • Coordinate with external agencies and internal teams to ensure seamless UC/video services

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of IT experience
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Security+ (IAT Level II)
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, AD, enterprise troubleshooting, and ITIL processes
  • Experience with Cisco UC Manager/Meeting Server, Vbrick, Jabber, and video endpoints

Preferred Skills:

  • Cisco TMS and Expressways
  • Microsoft 365/Teams
  • PBX support
  • AWS experience
  • SCCM, PowerShell, VMware/Citrix
  • Exchange and networking fundamentals

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
