Job Description

Join GDIT and support the U.S. Army by leading complex radar capability development at Tobyhanna Army Depot in Pennsylvania. As the Radar Project Coordinator, you will serve as the senior technical project manager responsible for planning, acquisition, logistics, engineering integration, testing, installation, and sustainment of multiple advanced radar initiatives. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with TYAD leadership, government stakeholders, OEM partners, contractors, engineers, logistics personnel, and depot artisans to deliver mission critical capabilities on time and within budget.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead end to end execution of radar capability projects from planning and design through acquisition, facility engineering, installation, testing, acceptance, documentation, and transition to sustainment.
  • Direct capability development supporting Sentinel A4, AN/TPY 4, ARTS V3, AN/TPQ 53, LRDR, associated LRUs, the Radar Engineering Laboratory, and next generation radar CCA repair capability.
  • Build and manage Integrated Master Schedules that incorporate equipment lead times, facility milestones, installation sequencing, calibration timelines, and training events.
  • Lead engineering assessments and facility integration for radar test stations, radar ranges, TMDE benches, CCA rework cells, engineering laboratories, electrical upgrades, CDA/N2 systems, DI water loops, fume extraction, and workspace design.
  • Oversee specification development and integration of PXI systems, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, RF amplifiers, power meters, and advanced diagnostic systems.
  • Manage project risks, schedules, budgets, technical documentation, and mitigation strategies while standardizing workflows using Lean and Six Sigma practices.
  • Ensure project activities comply with applicable IPC, J STD, ESD, OSHA, NIST, HazMat, base access, environmental, and safety requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between TYAD leadership, OEM partners, contractors, and government stakeholders.
  • Produce technical data packages, layout plans, utility reports, system acceptance test plans, progress reports, and final acceptance documentation.
  • Perform facility walkthroughs, equipment validation checks, safety inspections, installation oversight, and support equipment setup as required.
  • Travel up to 10 percent to OEM sites, vendor facilities, training venues, and engineering coordination meetings.

Requirements for Success

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Engineering degree preferred but not required.
  • 5 or more years of technical project or program management experience in engineering, defense sustainment, electronics manufacturing, radar systems, or DoD capability development.
  • Experience coordinating technical programs involving radar systems, electronics repair, TMDE instrumentation, facility engineering, and lifecycle sustainment.
  • Expertise in project management, engineering coordination, facility integration, RF systems, scheduling, risk management, budgeting, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and integrate electrical, RF, mechanical, and software requirements across complex systems.
  • Must have and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with advanced RF test equipment, digital instrumentation, and diagnostic systems.
  • Experience supporting advanced radar capability development, depot repair, or sustainment programs.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
