Job Description

Fort Carson Mission Training Complex (MTC) Site Lead

On-site manager at the Fort Carson, leading an 40+ personnel multi-functional program involving distributed Joint and Army training simulations and exercises. You’ll be responsible for overall scheduling, management coordination, training execution, and manage contractor continuing education training to deliver the highest quality training to the U.S. Army's Soldiers and Leaders.  Here, your work will have meaning and impact as you deliver your best every day.

MEANINGGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

  • On-site manager at the Fort Carson MTC during operating hours.

  • Leads an 40+ personnel multi-functional program involving distributed Joint and Army training simulations and exercises.

  • Responsible for overall scheduling, management coordination, oversee training execution, and manage contractor continuing education training. 

  • Responsible for all contractor performance requirements at the MTC.  

  • Routinely interfaces with the MTC Director and provide the MTC Director status updates relating to all contractor performance requirements.

  • Regularly interfaces with the Army Senior Leaders to ensure clear communications across the program effort.

  • Leads the GDIT Mission Command (MC) training team at the III Corps MTC Spoke at Fort Carson, CO.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Bring your Site Lead expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Site Lead must have:

  • Education: BA/BS, subject immaterial

  • Experience: Minimum of (8) years’ experience with Military training and training support

  • Preferred Skills:  

    • Have completed the Army Command & General Staff College (CGSC) or Intermediate Level Education or equivalent level military schooling.

    • Have had experience in operations and training requirements at Brigade or higher level.

    • Have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience with training management within an MTC or similar operation

    • Successfully served as a Centralized Selection List (CSL) battalion or brigade commander.

  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI required to start

  • Role requirements:

    • Location: Onsite at Ft Carson Mission Training Complex

    • Travel: Up to 25%

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $97,968 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
