Apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as a Business Development Director on all large Navy opportunities supporting NAVSEA at GDIT. Here, you’ll support solving some of our clients’ biggest challenges and help us grow the business.
Our work depends on a Business Development Director joining our team to perform long range identification of opportunities, leadership of new business opportunity development with current customers and new customers, creation of compelling win strategies, and marshalling the resources needed to successfully win both recompeted and new work. You would be the account lead for the NAVSEA business sector, including NAVSEA Headquarters and associated Warfare Centers. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that successfully develops strategic plans, identifies promising opportunities, secures cross – company cooperation to develop winning solutions, and then gains leadership approval for pursuit. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of successfully closing business on large and strategic Navy/Marine Corps opportunities, and an ability to work collaboratively. Demonstrate intimacy across the NAVSEA program offices and stakeholder organizations is required to perform this role.

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely salary range for this position is $187,179 - $241,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
