MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a Video Teleconference Technician, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our government customer. You will play a crucial role in delivering reliable classified and unclassified video teleconferencing that enables timely command-and-control, senior-leader collaboration, and mission-partner coordination.
● Support daily VTC and conference-room operations so customers can connect on schedule and focus on the mission instead of technology.
● Collaborate with customers, distant-end sites, and the AV/VTC team to schedule sessions, de-conflict rooms and bridges, and resolve issues before and during conferences.
● Drive on-time, high-quality connections by performing pre-conference tests, live monitoring, and rapid troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network problems.
● Utilize Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) to register and manage Cisco codecs, along with Poly, Microsoft Teams Rooms, conference bridges, control systems, and standard AV equipment to set up, operate, and maintain VTC suites.

● Security clearance level: Secret (higher clearance may be required depending on customer)
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: On-site support; ability to work early mornings, evenings, or on-call as mission needs require; strong customer service and communication skills in a high-visibility environment
