Job Description

Organizational Change Management Specialist
Support a high-visibility federal cloud modernization effort as an Organizational Change Management Specialist. Here, you'll help shape how a federal customer adopts new cloud capabilities, working alongside a dedicated OCM Lead and Program Management team.


 MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
 As a OCM Specialist, you'll support a multi-year federal cloud transformation program modernizing infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and future cloud environments. You will play a hands-on role executing OCM activities under the direction of the program's OCM Lead, including:

  • Supporting execution of the OCM strategy and stakeholder engagement plan for a federal cloud migration program.
  • Developing and distributing change communications, FAQs, and readiness materials for business and technical stakeholders.
  • Assisting with organizational readiness assessments and stakeholder impact analyses across program phases (Assessment, Migration Planning, Migration, Transition).
  • Supporting the design and delivery of training materials and adoption resources tied to new cloud tools and processes.
  • Tracking adoption metrics and change readiness indicators, and reporting progress to the OCM Lead and Program Manager.
  • Coordinating knowledge transfer activities between technical cloud teams and end-user business groups.
  • Helping identify pockets of resistance or low engagement and escalating mitigation approaches to program leadership.
  • Supporting town halls, briefings, and stakeholder sessions as needed throughout the program lifecycle.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
 Bring your change management expertise and attention to detail to GDIT. The Senior OCM Specialist must have:
 ● Education: Bachelor's degree in organizational development, Business, IT, Psychology, or a related field.
 ● Experience:

  • 5+ years of related experience performing duties as described above.
  • Experience supporting organizational change management on federal programs, ideally involving IT or cloud modernization initiatives.
  • Familiarity applying Prosci, ADKAR, or similar change models in government or highly regulated environments.
  • Past experience in Federal environment highly desired

Technical skills: Proficient in using OCM tools, such as:

  • Change tracking dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Surveys & feedback tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics)
  • Collaboration platforms (e.g., MS Teams, SharePoint)

Security clearance level: The selected applicant must be able to pass a security investigation for Public Trust.
 ● Certifications (Preferred):

  • A certification in an OCM framework (e.g., ADKAR by Prosci, Kotter's 8-Step Process) is a plus.
  • A Project Management framework certification (e.g., PMBOK, Agile) is a plus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Timeline: Contingent position; Expected to start in late summer or early fall of 2026.
Location: Remote. Some travel may be required.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $96,050 - $129,950. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
