Job Description

FACILITIES SPECIALIST ASSOCIATE

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
Join us as the friendly, organized, go‑to person who keeps our office running smoothly and creates a great experience for everyone who walks through the door. You’ll blend customer service, operations support, and facilities coordination to help maintain a safe, polished, and welcoming workplace. Responsibilies Include:

  • Support daily office operations and provide exceptional customer service while ensuring a safe, organized, and professional work environment.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and team members

  • Professionally greet tenants and visitors

  • Assist with general office and administrative support

  • Monitor building entrances and security cameras

  • Prevent unauthorized access and discourage badge piggybacking

  • Issue visitor badges and coordinate credential verification with security personnel

  • Maintain accurate visitor logs

  • Report suspicious activity and safety threats to security officers promptly

  • Assist in communicating emergency alerts such as severe weather or active threats

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages

  • Ensure deliveries are routed to the appropriate recipients

  • Order and restock office refreshments, paper products, and kitchenette supplies

  • Monitor inventory levels and anticipate supply needs

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply closets and common areas

  • Keep printer stations stocked with paper and office materials

  • Conduct weekly inventory audits of office supplies and paper goods

  • Dispose of shredder bags and maintain office equipment areas

  • Escort vendors and visitors as required

  • Support facility operations and tenant needs

  • Perform monthly refrigerator and pantry cleanings

  • Maintain conference rooms by organizing furniture, stocking supplies, and tidying shared spaces

  • Clean whiteboards and empty trash as needed

  • Work Requirements:

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

  • Business casual attire required

  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds

  • No work authorized on Federal Holidays unless approved in writing

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

  • Experience: 0+ years of related experience

  • Technical skills: Customer Service, Office Administration, Facilities Coordination, Security Awareness, Inventory Management, Organization and attention to detail, Communication and teamwork, and Time Management and Reliability skills

  • Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph

  • US citizenship required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.01 - $39.25. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
