Job Description

Seeking a Network Security Lead to join our Network team.  This Network Lead would manage a team and provide critically needed support to the Network area working as part of the Managed Application, Infrastructure, Networking, Enterprise, and Security Services (MAINES) contract.   The Network Lead will work with several matrixed teams across client and contractor organizations.

Job Summary:

  • Manages a group of Cybersecurity Analysts and/or Cybersecurity Engineers in the analysis, design, and implementation of complex cyber-related systems solutions. Has in-depth technical knowledge of cybersecurity systems and processes.

Job Description:

  • Manages cyber professionals directly and offers leadership, coaching, and training.
  • Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical.
  • Develops and administers schedule and performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.
  • Develops and implements strategic, technical, and operational security/infrastructure controls that are properly aligned with business or program goals and objectives.
  • Reviews and prioritizes needs and analyzes project costs and feasibility.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Education and Experience

  • BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of experience

Job Requirements

  • Experience with cloud technologies (ie AWS DX/Transit Gateway/VPC routing).
  • Experience managing multiple projects (10+) with competing priorities at one time.
  • In depth knowledge of Fortinet.
  • Knowledge of routing and switching.
  • Familiarity with other firewall platforms (Palo Alto preferred).
  • Knowledge of Cisco ISE.
  • Proven ability to get in cli or gui and make configuration changes, assist with troubleshooting cybersecurity related issues/problems.
  • Manager will serve as a technical escalation for all cybersecurity related incidents and problems.
  • Manager will serve as coach and mentor for cybersecurity engineering team developing overall skill set.
  • Hands on Zscaler Private Access, Zscaler Internet Access, and Zscaler Digital Experience
  • Incident Response Management

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
