TEN-M Foreman

Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. We are seeking a Forman (hiring all experience levels) to join our team in support of the Army TEN-M program.

This is a remote position but you must be within 50 miles of a major airport as you will have 25-50% travel requirements.

This position oversees full‑cycle telecommunications site development—from surveying and design, through installation, subcontractor management, safety and power inspections, documentation control, and IT coordination—to ensure compliant, high‑quality, mission‑ready infrastructure across all deployment types.

As a Foreman on our team, you: 

• Performs surveys, assists with design and oversees end‑to‑end site installation processes for new tower builds, network upgrades, small‑form‑factor deployments, microwave PTP/PTMP links, and expeditionary COW/CoLT installations. Confirms scheduling and personnel availability while conducting all pre‑implementation coordination, including material readiness and solution validation.  

• Performs comprehensive site visits and surveys to visually assess facilities and ensure compliance with NEC and EIA/TIA grounding and installation standards.  

• Manages construction subcontractors to maintain adherence to schedule, quality expectations, and safety requirements.  

• Validates site power quality to confirm adequate and stable power for all newly deployed equipment.  

• Conducts safety and metering inspections, including current and voltage measurements at main and sub‑panels, and evaluates bonding and busbar integrity.  

• Coordinates required ancillary IT services to support full solution integration into the TNMP.  

• Maintains all construction drawings and documentation, ensuring red‑lined updates are continuously captured and accurately reflected in the as‑built records.  

• Tracks milestones, deliverables, and subcontractors; Ensures quality, safety, and schedule adherence. 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: 

• Education: AA/AS Degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Required Experience:  1+ years of related experience  
• Security Clearance Level:  Active Secret Clearance  
• Location:  Remote 
• Travel: This position requires 25% to 50% travel, and the candidate must reside within a 50-mile radius of a major airport
