Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a mid-level AI / Software Developer to design, build, and integrate AI-enabled features into production applications. This role focuses on practical application of machine learning and large language models, alongside strong general software engineering fundamentals.

You will work closely with product, data, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that solve real business problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications that incorporate AI or machine learning capabilities
  • Integrate large language models (LLMs) and AI APIs into existing systems and workflows
  • Build and optimize data pipelines to support AI-driven features
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions
  • Support deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement of AI-enabled systems

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience (or 5+ years without a degree)
  • Proficiency in Python and at least one additional language (JavaScript, Java, or similar)
  • Experience working with AI/ML concepts, such as model inference, embeddings, or prompt engineering
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, data formats (JSON), and cloud-based services
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating or deploying LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.)
  • Familiarity with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Exposure to containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Understanding of data privacy, security, and responsible AI practices

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
