HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

At GDIT, people are our differentiators. As the Program Financial Sr. Analyst, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. The Program Financial Sr. Analyst has overall responsibility for:

  • Financial point of contact for the customer and program leadership team,  with overall accountability for all chargeback, invoicing, billing disputes, pricing, and financial reporting.
  • Financial analysis and reporting in order to monitor finances associated with business operations.
  • Specialized financial, accounting or planning activities following general project or departmental guidelines.
  • Conducting and executes procedures in support of various functions such as budgeting, auditing and financial planning.
  • Financial assessments of the financial health of the contract.
  • Examining contractual data to assist leadership in making decisions regarding budgeting, and long-term financial planning.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science  or
  • Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
  • Knowledge of conducting assessments for the financial health of contractual data.
  • Familiarity with review of financial statements, market trends, and economic indicators.
  • Prior work conducting audits for contract financial management and supporting government contracts as a financial analyst or program analyst.
  • Knowledge of financial operations.
  • Familiarity with government financial reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of cost management and accounting for the contract.
  • Knowledge of auditing and operations.
  • Knowledge of developing, documenting and implementation of financial process and/or procedures
  • Requires highly effective communication and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Requires strong analytic and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong decision-making and prioritization skills.

Location: Remote. Some travel may be required.

Timeline: This is being posted contingent on contract award. Award is expected in the second quarter of 2027. Work will not start full-time until after the contract start.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 - $150,385. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
