DATA SECURITY ENGINEER - ACAS TASK LEAD

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Data Security Engineer – ACAS Task Lead at GDIT. Here, you’ll enable the success of the most critical government missions and the growth of a meaningful career in Finance.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Data Security Engineer – ACAS Task Lead, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of NETCOM. You will play a crucial role in modernizing and securing the Army’s enterprise architecture, ensuring the seamless integration of NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and Deployed Forces (DF) communications across the DODIN


● Lead/Manage/Support the full lifecycle of IT capability development, ensuring that critical Army Enterprise programs are engineered for high performance, cost-efficiency, and operational readiness to maintain global network superiority.
● Collaborate with Government stakeholders, resource managers, and cross-functional engineering teams to synchronize requirements and provide data-driven recommendations that bridge the gap between complex technical needs and mission-critical execution.

● Drive strategic project outcomes by identifying operational gaps and implementing innovative staging and testing solutions, ensuring that all IT services are delivered within schedule and performance parameters while proactively resolving deployment challenges.

● Utilize advanced technical project management methodologies, lifecycle gap analysis, and comprehensive spend plan validation to maintain fiscal and operational integrity across all NETCOM-supported initiatives.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Data Security Engineer – Task Lead must have:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
● Experience: 5+ years of related experience
● Technical skills: Engineering and integration of NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and Deployed Forces (DF) systems within the DODIN, Application of Army Enterprise architecture across all lifecycle stages (design through operational support), Proficiency in gap analysis, technical staging, installation testing, and quality assurance.
● Security clearance level: TS/SCI
● Role requirements: Ability to work full-time onsite at Fort Huachuca, AZ,  Proven management of IT projects, task order reporting, Skilled in synchronizing requirements across schedule and performance parameters, advanced-level capability in developing technical briefings and administrative reports for NETCOM leadership.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $101,546 - $120,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
