GDIT is seeking a Technical Lead to support the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Center for Information Technology (CIT) for the Business Applications Services (BAS) Program, specifically the NIH Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) systems portfolio. FOIA systems include FOIAXpress and SecureRelease, which support request intake, document review, redaction, workflow routing, analytics, and final response processing for NIH FOIA requests. The Technical Lead provides architectural direction, oversees technical work products, supports enhancement cycles, and leads development and integration activities across FOIA environments.
The Technical Lead is responsible for designing and developing new code where applicable, supporting maintenance tasks, performing architectural reviews, and guiding the contractor team through all technical activities across requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment. The role requires leadership across workflow automation, document-management systems, analytics support, and familiarity with NIH security and privacy requirements. The Technical Lead collaborates across CIT, BAS, and FOIA program stakeholders to sustain compliant and efficient FOIA operations.

The likely salary range for this position is $188,700 - $255,300. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
