Job Description

Our work depends on a Staff Vice President (VP) of Health joining our Federal Health Division leadership team to support division‑level priorities, business growth, strategic initiatives, and major programs across the division.

You will have opportunity to play a leadership role in serving our Federal Health customers by supporting technology and mission challenges across multiple agencies. The breadth and scale of our portfolio ensure you can take on new challenges as our business and mission impact continue to grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Executive Division Support

  • Support the EVP of the Federal Health Division on top‑priority programs, strategic initiatives, enterprise transformation efforts, and cross‑agency activities.

  • Monitor KPIs & operational dashboards, synthesizing insights and surfacing issues requiring EVP attention.

Strategic Planning & Division Initiatives

  • Drive EVP-level priorities by translating strategic goals into clear workstreams, tracking progress, and ensuring cross-functional coordination.

  • Act as a strategic advisor—providing analysis, risk identification, and recommendations on key decisions. Identify operational risks early and help build mitigation/response plans.

  • Provide thought leadership and drive alignment with corporate initiatives, technology roadmaps, and mission‑driven outcomes.

  • Stand up and lead special projects on the EVP’s behalf (e.g., transformation initiatives, customer escalations, internal process improvements).

Growth, Pricing & Proposal Strategy

  • Engage in business development planning, contributing to division‑wide growth and capture strategies across federal health agencies; in particular for large, complex opportunities.

  • Review pricing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, completeness, and

  • Partner with pricing, capture, and solutioning teams to ensure proposals reflect differentiated value.

Program Leadership & Strategic Delivery

  • May serve as executive lead for large enterprise programs, ensuring high‑quality delivery, strong customer engagement, and alignment with mission outcomes.

  • Represent the Federal Health Division as a senior leader during customer engagements, executive reviews, and enterprise strategy sessions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of senior leadership experience in federal health government agency operations, business development, program leadership, and mission delivery.

  • Demonstrated ability to grow business and drive strategy across multiple Federal Health agencies.

  • Extensive background in federal contracting, including operations, capture, procurement, and mission‑focused IT or digital transformation initiatives.

  • Deep understanding of emerging federal health technologies such as AI/ML, Zero Trust, cybersecurity, cloud, and enterprise architecture.

  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and strategy development skills; ability to work effectively across GDIT leadership and with senior government leaders.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with travel to customer sites as needed.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $215,467 - $276,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
