Job Description

SECURITY OFFICER

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Security Officer at GDIT. Here, you’ll enable the success of the most critical government missions and the growth of a meaningful career in Security Operations.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Security Officer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of a critical government customer. You will play a crucial role in providing industrial security oversight.

  • Author, Maintain, and update security related documentation, reports, and publications

  • Assist with ensuring CPI, MCC, and MCF, are protected at industry locations.

  • Maintain and update US Government security related websites, databases, and systems of record (e.g. Joint Access Database Environment (JADE), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), local databases, SharePoint, central archive, etc.).

  • Assist with the scheduling (including the reservation of conference/meeting rooms) and execution of security related meetings, conferences, and other events/activities (such as working groups).


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your Security Administration expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Security Officer must have:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
● Experience: 1-3 years of related experience, OR an associate’s degree and 4 additional years of experience (5 total), OR 7 total years of relevant experience.
● Technical skills: Knowledge of DODM 5205.07 required.
● Security clearance level: Secret/eligibility to access Special Access Program Information
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: willingness to work on site 5 days per week and travel occasionally.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $64,230 - $81,650. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
